VI CHEMICAL PEELS

The great thing about the Vi Peel® over other chemical peels is that you can see an almost immediate difference in your skin after you have gone through the peel. Most individuals recover from the peel and see that their skin looks much more youthful after just seven days. the “Vi” in a Vi peel stands for Vitality Institute. This means that you can expect it to be specially formulated to be safe and gentle to your skin, yet also effective. The Vi peel also contains a unique blend of acids, including trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, vitamin C, and phenol.

The intensity of peeling after a VI Peel can vary from person to person. While some clients may experience only mild peeling, others might notice more noticeable shedding. In some cases, patients may not experience any peeling at all. Unlike other medium-depth peels, the VI Peel is specifically formulated to offer a more controlled and less aggressive peeling process. This unique formulation ensures a gentler, more comfortable recovery. Additionally, the peel is self-neutralizing, meaning it will remain on the skin to continue working its magic throughout the treatment process.

Days three and four usually constitute the peak days of peeling. Day Five: Peeling begins to subside and many patients see it cease completely on day 5. Day Seven: Results from a VI Peel usually become visible. Do not put the face directly into a hot shower until at least 7 days post-procedure.

• Do not use a steam room, jacuzzi, or sauna until at least 7 days post-procedure.
• Do not go swimming until at least 7 days post-procedure.
• Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration until at least 7 days post-procedure (excessive perspiration early in treatment could cause blistering).
• Do not use mechanical exfoliation (loofah or facial machine brush) until at least 10-14 days post-procedure.
• Resume any topical prescriptions (Retin A, etc.) when skin feels back to normal (around day 8 and beyond).
